Had a truly fabulous day in Tembisa today uniting AREHLWEKISENG-Let’s Clean campaign with Ubuntu Education, The Department of Environmental Affairs’ Good Green Deeds Campaign and Tembisa Police at an environmental talk at Marhulani Primary School. Thank you to sponsorship by Outsurance we were able to get ‘snake man’ Bryan Voster to show the children a bullfrog, cobra and barn owl. The children absolutely delighted in his presentation wherein he reiterated the importance of looking after our wetlands to protect these precious species. The community patrol police then walked from the school to Tembisa picking up waste along the way. Water, fruit and veggie hot dogs were enjoyed under a warm sun next to a clear stream. Thanks be to God for this amazing journey.
